Day of Belarusian Written Language celebrated in Khoiniki
Belarus celebrated the Day of the Belarusian Written Language on 5 September. The celebrations, the 17th this year, took place in Khoiniki, Gomel Oblast.

Youth Day celebrations on Ukraine-Belarus-Russia border
The Friendship 2010 youth international festival took part at the monument of Friendship on the border of the Gomel, Chernigov and Bryansk Oblasts on the Youth Day on 26 June. The festival named Three Sisters was held under the motto We Won Together and marked the 65th anniversary of Great Victory. This year the festival has been organized by the Chernigov Oblast of Ukraine.

Artware Factory in Hoiniki developing souvenirs to Day of Written Language
The Artware Factory in Hoiniki started designing and producing souvenir products to the Day of Written Language. The event will be celebrated in the Hoiniki region this year.
The company plans to offer nearly 20 different types of souvenirs made of straw, towels and table napkins with ornaments.
